What We Provide<\/a><\/h2>\n

Our spectrum of services is designed to handle the back-office details of securities transactions, making the settlement process streamlined and efficient. As financial services companies focus their attention on controlling costs, acquiring new business and leveraging their market presence, many review their existing operations and service-support infrastructures to enhance cost savings, efficiencies, and service differentiation. Velox Clearing offers QSR\/Correspondent Clearing for US broker dealers and Prime Brokerage Services for institutional clients.<\/p>\n

Clearing and Settlement<\/h4>\n

Velox is a direct member and participant with NSCC and DTC and is able to clear and settle trades for its own account and the accounts of its customers under this arrangement.\u00a0 Velox is also able to clear trades with other brokers and financial institutions under delivery versus payment arrangements.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

Institutional Clearing<\/h4>\n

Velox can clear within the demands of any institutional client \u2013 hedge funds, RIA\u2019s, or any other type of professional or automated trader.\u00a0 We clear via QSR\u00a0and Correspondent Clearing arrangements with any street side broker, or we can clear via traditional DVP\/RVP methods versus any executing broker.<\/p>\n

Sponsored Access and DMA<\/h4>\n

We provide sponsored access to qualified clients at no additional fee.\u00a0 To provide full transparency and efficiency, each sponsored access client is issued and assigned a unique MPID for trading.\u00a0 All trading activity and any related execution fees or rebates are invoiced by the marketplace under that MPID.\u00a0 At the end of the month, Velox receives those invoices and posts them to the client account. \u00a0This arrangement allows for 100% pass-through execution fees and rebates to the client with full transparency.<\/p>\n

Custody and Safekeeping<\/h4>\n

Client assets held at Velox are protected under the Securities Investor Protection Corporation (SIPC).<\/p>\n

Stock Loan<\/h4>\n

Velox has a dedicated stock loan desk to meet the demands of our institutional clients.\u00a0 Our ability to locate both easy-to-borrow and hard-to-borrow stocks is exceptional, and it is one factor that sets us apart from our competitors.<\/p>\n

Financial Technology<\/h4>\n

Reliable Back-Office System<\/h5>\n

Powered by\u00a0FIS\u2122, a proven third party back office system that is widely used at some of the top US broker dealers and clearing firms, Velox offers its clients a direct look and connection to their client holdings, balances, and activity \u2013 all on a real-time basis.<\/p>\n

Flexible Inter-connectivity<\/h5>\n

For sophisticated clients who need inter-connectivity, we offer a powerful suite of APIs to connect your environment to ours. This highly flexible technology solution integrates seamlessly with your infrastructure. For clients who utilize various Order Management Systems (OMS) we offer the ability to certify whatever OMS platform is needed, provided our risk management responsibilities are satisfied.<\/p>\n

Proactive risk management<\/h5>\n

Our margin risk system is integrated across every aspect of our business.\u00a0 Powered by Softek\u00ae, a proven third party system that is widely used in many large banks and US brokers, Velox employs a real time risk system throughout our enterprise to proactively assess, stress-test, and monitor all aspects of our business, our clients\u2019 accounts, and to ensure we remain well capitalized, protected, and within all the regulatory guidelines.<\/p>\n

Performance Reporting<\/h5>\n

Portfolio performance reporting tools are available for our Prime Broker clients who require robust portfolio appraisal reports and performance measurements.\u00a0 These systems are available as a pass-through cost from some of the most powerful software solutions available today.<\/p>\n
